Memorial on Sherman Avenue

In the wee hours of Sunday 23october, Christopher Edwards (AKA Wayne Williams) was being pulled over for a traffic violation, but fled the scene. Moments later (3:10 a.m.), Edwards ran a stop sign at Sherman Ave & Columbia Road, smashing into a car carrying three adults and a 2 year old child.

The adults were injured, but the child succumbed. Edwards was later nabbed by US Marshals, hiding under the steps of a residence in Temple Hills, Maryland.

Now Edwards is being held on 2nd-degree murder charges. Turns out he had over 30 points on his DC drivers license, and had a record of reckless driving, running red lights, and other fun stuff.

So clearly, his charge should be elevated to first-degree assbrain-ism, with a very long prison sentence and, at the very least, he should be vasectomized. Assbrains should not breed.


Anyway, the memorial is still there, looking rather melancholy in its bright colors that refuse to fade after being rained on for a week.
