A fitting tombstone

End of an era? PostNewsweek Tech Media, publisher of Government Computer News, Washington Technology, Government Leader, and Defense Systems, falls to the might (or buying power, at least) of its rival publisher 1105 Media, home of Federal Computer Week. And thus ends a rather childish feud between the two companies.

More to the point, thus ends my lovely gig as Art Director of GCN and GovLeader. It would seem 1105 has other plans for their design staff...and bully for them. The idea of commuting to Falls Church for a hastily improvised corporation with no apparent business plan is, uh, less than ideal. Good luck Vitale, I hope you know what the hell you're doing.

So the pavement-pounding begins. Where is that dusty old portfolio these days?
